Also, please note that VoiceOver is not fully functional in this version of TestFlight.
Developers told 9to5Mac that they have now been able to submit macOS apps built with Xcode 13 beta to App Store Connect, which wasn’t possible before since macOS Monterey isn’t available yet and there’s no TestFlight for Mac either.
9to5Mac was able to confirm not only that it’s now possible to submit apps with Xcode 13 beta to App Store Connect, but also that developers can now prepare them for TestFlight as well. The TestFlight option now shows up for macOS apps on App Store Connect, which is the platform used for developers to manage all their apps submitted to Apple.
Once the developer invites a user to download a macOS beta app, the user receives an email from Apple with a link to install the Mac version of TestFlight. However, the link currently redirects to the main page of the Apple Developer portal, which suggests that Apple is still working on making this available.
To test this app, you must have TestFlight installed on your iOS device running 13.0 or later, Mac using macOS 12.0 or later, or Apple TV using tvOS 13.0 or later. For testing on macOS, download TestFlight beta.
Users invited to test a macOS beta app can now also see the app in the iOS version of TestFlight. The details of the beta app confirm that the user needs a Mac rather than an iOS device to install that app.
Apple never said when exactly TestFlight for macOS would be officially released, but this all suggests that the app may be coming really soon to Mac developers. It’s worth noting that although iOS 15 beta 6 was released last week, Apple hasn’t released updates for macOS Monterey or Xcode 13 beta since August 11, which may also be related to TestFlight coming to the Mac.

How To Install Macos Ventura Beta Right Now
MacOS Ventura beta is available to install and run for Mac users who are interested in trying out the developer version of the upcoming Mac operating system.
Installing the Ventura beta is pretty easy, though it’s currently only available to registered Apple Developers. Other users will have to wait until the public beta is released next month, or for the final version in the fall.
Requirements for Installing MacOS Ventura BetaYou will need access to the macOS Ventura beta profile, which requires a developer account. Technically you can find the profiles online, but don’t do that, just wait for the public beta next month.
You will also need a Mac compatible with macOS Ventura, which is a much more strict list than prior MacOS versions. Any Mac from 2023 or later can run Ventura, whereas any Mac from before that can not. Specifically, any iMac from 2023 or newer, MacBook Pro from 2023 or newer, MacBook Air from 2023 or newer, MacBook from 2023 or newer, Mac Pro from 2023 or newer, or iMac Pro can run macOS Ventura.
It’s also not ideal to run beta system software on primary hardware, so preferably you have a test machine to try Ventura out on. And don’t forget that removing Ventura means you have to erase the entire Mac, you can’t simply reinstall Monterey.
How to Install macOS Ventura Beta on a MacBe sure to backup your Mac with Time Machine or otherwise before installing macOS Ventura beta. Failure to backup could result in permanent data loss.

MacOS Ventura is obviously in early beta thus it’s not going to perform as well as expected, and you should anticipate bugs and crashing apps and unusual behavior. Also, many of the features will be refined as the beta period continues, so don’t be surprised if things change and shift as the versions continue to evolve towards the final release this fall. Hopefully things like the System Settings (replacing System Preferences) changes back to a more Mac like interface as well, since as of now it looks like someone copy/pasted the iOS Settings onto the Mac and looks very out of place and is not intuitive at all. There’s also something strange about the fonts display, maybe they system font is thinner, but whatever it is is causing me eye strain. Overall, I would not recommend installing the Ventura beta at this point, for anyone except true developers working on app compatibility.

Yes You Can Install Ios 12 Beta Right Now, But Don’t
The anticipation for iOS 12 is high for many iPhone and iPad owners, and with iOS 12 developer beta out in the wild, many people may be tempted to install iOS 12 beta onto their devices right now.
Installing the iOS 12 developer beta is possible, but ultimately you shouldn’t. If you’re that interested in running beta system software, you should at least wait a while.
Installing iOS 12 Beta Right Now is Possible but…It turns out that anyone can install iOS 12 beta right now through one of two means; signing up for an Apple Developer account, or by obtaining the iOS 12 developer beta profile. There’s no need to register a device UDID or anything else, all is needed is the beta profile and an iOS 12 supported device.
The first method requiring an Apple Developer account is just a matter of signing up and paying for the membership here at chúng tôi But the Developer program is intended for developers, not casual users, so this is really not a good idea unless you’re actually a developer of some sort.
The second method utilizes the iOS 12 developer beta configuration profile, which is a small file .mobileconfig file that installs onto an iPhone or iPad and then allows that device to access the iOS 12 beta system software through Software Update. The “iOS_12_Beta_Profile.mobileconfig” files can be found to download in a variety of places on the web, or perhaps from a colleague or friend with a developer account. While the beta profile can technically be installed onto any device, it is still not a good idea to do so for various reasons. One, it’s possible the beta profile .mobileconfig file is from a sketchy source and not actually legitimate or from Apple, in which case it’d be a very bad idea to install a random profile onto any iPhone or iPad. And second, even if the beta profile is legitimate and from Apple, the iOS 12 developer beta software is buggy and it will not be a good experience for most users. It’s even possible that permanent data loss could occur if the device runs into an issue with the iOS 12 developer beta system software builds. Just don’t take the risk, it’s not worth it.
Don’t Install the iOS 12 Developer Beta, Wait InsteadEarly developer beta software is notoriously unreliable and is about as buggy as beta system software releases get. Thus, even if you get ahold of the iOS 12 beta profile yourself from the developer center or through a friend or elsewhere, you should fight the urge to install the early beta versions and just wait.
But I Want to Install and Beta Test iOS 12! What Should I Do?If you really do want to beta test iOS 12, then you should wait for the iOS 12 public beta, which will start soon. The public beta builds of iOS 12 will be a bit further refined and should perform notably better than the early developer beta releases. Apple specifically created the public beta testing program to fit this desire of many users who like to explore and experiment with future system software.
If you find yourself in a bind and are currently running iOS 12 beta but regret it, don’t forget you can always downgrade iOS 12 beta back to revert back to a stable build of iOS 11.x if you need to, though you’ll want to be sure you have sufficient backups handy so that you can avoid total data loss.
Ultimately, the vast majority of iPhone and iPad users should never install beta system software at all – be it a developer beta or public beta – and instead most people are better off only installing and running the final versions of iOS when they are made available to the general public. For iOS 12, the final version will be available sometime this fall. Just have a little patience.

Building a USB install drive for macOS Mojave beta requires using the command line, where exact syntax must be used in order to avoid erroneously erasing the wrong volume. Be sure to backup the Mac before beginning this process.
How to Make a Bootable macOS Mojave 10.14 Beta USB Installer Drive
First, connect the USB flash drive to the Mac (if the USB flash drive is not yet formatted as MacOS Journaled Extended, do that first with Disk Utility)
Download the macOS Mojave developer beta installer application from the Mac App Store
When the macOS Mojave 10.14 beta installer has finished downloading it will automatically launch, quit out of the Mojave beta installer app, be sure to leave the “Install macOS 10.14 Beta.app” or “Install macOS Mojave Beta.app” within the /Applications/ folder on the Mac
Now open the “Terminal” application, found in /Applications/Utilities/ directory
Enter the following command at the Terminal command line, replace “UNTITLED” with the USB drive name if necessary for your situation, and use the command line relevant to your version of the macOS Mojave beta:

* If you are getting a “command not found” error, it’s likely that the syntax entered is incorrect, or the Install macOS 10.14 beta app installer is not downloaded and located within the /Applications directory.
Note this applies to the current macOS Mojave developer beta, we will update with instructions for the macOS Mojave public beta when it becomes available.
How to Boot from the macOS Mojave Beta USB Install Drive
Connect the macOS Mojave 10.14 beta install drive to a Mac via USB if you have not done so already
Reboot the Mac and hold down the OPTION key
At the boot menu choose the macOS Mojave 10.14 beta installer volume to boot from
After you have booted from the macOS Mojave 10.14 beta USB drive, you can perform an installation of macOS Mojave beta, run Disk Utility to format or partition a drive, work with Time Machine, use the Terminal, or perform other common tasks from the bootable volume.
Once booted from the USB drive you can proceed with installing macOS High Sierra, using the Disk Utility tools to format or erase a volume, work with Time Machine, and other similar tasks. What to try in macOS SierraSiri
Apple’s voice assistant finally coming to the Mac is the headlining new feature. You can ask Siri questions about your Mac, control Finder, and do many of the same things that you can do on Siri everywhere else without interrupting your work on the Mac.
Siri does have some limitations on the Mac though. There’s no HomeKit support yet and podcast control isn’t quite ready. It is fun to send messages and set reminders with Siri on the Mac and controlling or asking about your hardware is pretty clever.
You can even pin Siri queries to the Today view for easy reference.
Auto Unlock
macOS Sierra testers have been saying that Auto Unlock makes wearing an Apple Watch worth it. Just wear your Apple Watch with watchOS 3 and you can skip your log in.
Apple Pay
If you have iPhone 6 or later running iOS 10 or an Apple Watch with watchOS 3, you can actually checkout with websites on your Mac using Apple Pay in Safari is skip the process of filling out your billing and shipping information. If you’re running low on space or just want to put your Mac to work, macOS Sierra includes some new Optimize Storage options that let you manage your data smarter on a low capacity drive. For example, you can set your trash can to empty after 30 days or look for large files that you may want to delete. If you use iCloud, you can also allow macOS Sierra to offload rarely used files from your local storage if you run out of disk space.
Photos
Apple’s built-in Photos app continues to get smarter with macOS Sierra thanks to a new face recognition engine, the ability to search for objects and scenery, view your faces by location, and more. There’s even a new Memories feature similar to iOS 10, although videos aren’t supported on the Mac for some reason. The latest version of Photos also includes various enhancements throughout the app like mousing over a collection to view what’s inside and tweaked editing controls.
Picture in Picture
Tabs
You probably use tabs the most in Safari or Chrome, and Finder gained tabs in a recent OS X update. Now macOS Sierra is making tabs easier for all applications and adding the tab feature to built-in apps like Maps and TextEdit. Three cheers for window management.
Universal Clipboard
Finally, we have universal clipboard which is a pretty ambitious feature. Your clipboard can sync between Macs, iPhone, and iPad so you can copy a line of text on your Mac and paste it in Messages on your iPhone. The clipboard expires after a couple of minutes so you can’t accidentally paste something that you copied hours ago or get your clipboards confused. When it works (most of the time) it’s really impressive and useful. The hardest part is remembering that such an invisible feature is there.
