Suggested December 2023 How To Use Google Classroom: All You Need To Know
We can go on endlessly about how technology bridges gaps and enables access for everyone, especially in ways that would simply be impossible using an age-old conventional method, but we are well past the times when we could simply be appreciative. Not because there is nothing to appreciate, in fact, it’s quite the opposite these days. But ever since the COVID-19 pandemic, this technology is not an option for us as much as a necessity, compelling even the most technologically amateurish of us to get on-board to function and stay relevant.
But as challenging as this brief sounds, you can believe us when we say that despite how intimidating it looks, Learning Management Systems (LMS) like Google Classroom are here not just for big life-changing things but also for the small convenient changes that one will learn to appreciate as they get familiar with the Google Classroom software.

Streamline Classroom Management
With Google Classroom, you’re not just getting the Classroom interface, but also an integration with other handy Google features like Docs, Drive, and Calendar. This makes all your classroom activities inter-linked in an efficient manner and basically creates short-cuts for activities that would otherwise have been tedious. For example, when you create an assignment in the Classwork section, you can attach a Google Drive file that students can also access using Drive and the due date you assign will be automatically added to your Google Calendar.

Effective and reliable communication
Classroom’s Stream is similar to having your own personal Social Media platform from where you can communicate with students and update them about all activities. Whether it’s announcements or assignments, you can post about it on stream and trust Google to notify all the necessary parties. In fact, you can customize the list of people who see the post which makes classroom management easy as well. Classroom also enables you to check-in with students privately, answer their questions, and offer support.
Feedback assignments and assessments
With Google Classroom, you will spend less time grading and more time providing quality feedback on your student’s work. With resources like Google Forms for quizzes, Google automatically grades your students based on a marking system that you have set. Now, you will have resources at hand that will help you to focus on things that truly matter.
Organize, distribute and collect
The convenience of being able to organize, distribute, and collect classroom-related anything using Google Classroom is fairly unbeatable. In fact, even when schools resume again, this might be a method you will consider permanently adopting. The convenience of posting an assignment to multiple classes or modifying and reusing assignments from year to year is one of the many blessings of an LMS like Google Classroom. If your students have regular access to devices, Google Classroom can help you avoid some trips to the photocopier and cut down on the amount of paper that goes into the process of teaching and learning.
How to get started with Google classroom

All You Need To Know About Google’s Project Soli
On Saturday, a couple of interesting Google Pixel 4 images started circulating on Twitter, showing an oval-shaped cutout on the right of the detached bezels for the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4XL.
A lot of theories have come to the fore since then, but the majority of them hint at Project Soli integration. We are not sure whether the Pixel 4 devices will feature Project Soli or not, but the technology itself is fascinating, to say the least.
So, without further ado, let’s get to it.
What is Project Soli?
Google has assigned some of its best engineers to create a piece of hardware which would allow the human hand to act as a universal input device. In smartphones and wearables, we currently use the touch panel to interact with the system. Soli aims to remove the middleman (touch panel) by letting you interact with your device using simple hand gestures, without making contact.
How does it work?
The Soli sensor emits electromagnetic waves in a broad beam. The objects in the beam’s path scatter this energy, feeding some of it back to the radar antenna. The radar processes some properties of the returned signal, such as energy, time delay, and frequency shift. These properties, in turn, allow Soli to identify the object’s size, shape, orientation, material, distance, and velocity.
Soli’s spatial resolution has been fine-tuned to pick up most subtle finger gestures, meaning that it doesn’t need large bandwidth and high spatial resolution to work. The radar tracks subtle variation in the received signal over time to decode finger movements and distorting hand shapes.
How to use Soli?
Soli uses Virtual Tools to understand hand/finger gestures and carry out the tasks associated with them. According to Google, Virtual Gestures are hand gestures that mimic familiar interactions with physical tools.
Imagine holding a key between your thumb and index finger. Now, rotate the key as if you were opening a lock. That’s it. Soli, in theory, will pick up the gesture and perform the task associated with it.
So far, Soli recognizes three primary Virtual Gestures.
Button
Imagine an invisible button between your thumb and index fingers, press the button by tapping the fingers together. Primary use is expected to be selecting an application, perform in-app actions.
Dial
Imagine a dial that you turn up or down by rubbing your thumb against the index finger. Primary use is expected to be volume control.
Slider
Finally, think about using a Virtual Slider. Brush your thumb across your index finger to act. Primary use is expected to be controlling horizontal sliders, such as brightness control.
Soli generates feedback by assessing the haptic sensation of fingers touching one another.
What are the applications?
As no mainstream device has implemented Soli so far, it’s hard to guess how it’d perform in the wild. But if all goes according to plan, the radar could become fundamental to smartphones, wearables, IoT components, and even cars in the future.
The radar is super compact — 8mm x 10mm — doesn’t use much energy, has no moving parts, and packs virtually endless potential. Taking all of that into consideration, a contact-less smartphone experience doesn’t seem that far-fetched.
Whatsapp Stickers: How To Use And Everything You Need To Know
WhatsApp has recently been on a grind developing and releasing new features regularly to make the messaging app even more engaging and simple to use. WhatsApp is currently the most popular messaging platform in the world and has a monthly user base of around 1.5 billion people.
One of the most popular features on WhatsApp currently is the ability to send stickers in chats without having to leave the application. The WhatsApp sticker feature is super fun to use and makes any conversation so much more engaging.
If you’ve just received the update or are looking to find out a bit more information about the new feature, then you’re in the right place. Let’s take a look at all you need to know about WhatsApp Stickers.
Related:
What are WhatsApp Stickers
As the name suggests ‘Stickers’ are cool illustrations or images without a background. WhatsApp now lets developers and creators design sticker packs and publish them on the Play Store for users to download and use in chats.
Before the update, the only way to send stickers was through third-party applications and whenever you wanted to send a sticker you would have to open the third-party sticker app and share the sticker from there. With the new WhatsApp Stickers feature, users can share stickers from within the WhatsApp application in the same way as we share emoji and gifs.
How to get the WhatsApp stickers feature
The feature was first rolled out to WhatsApp Beta users on version 2.18.329. Now, the Sticker feature is being made available to all users on the stable build of the application as well.
You would have to update the WhatsApp application to the latest version to get the stickers feature. To do this, follow these steps:
Open the Google Play Store and swipe in from the left edge of the device.
Now tap on My apps & games. This should automatically scan for new app updates. You might see the WhatsApp update available and then tap on UPDATE.
Wait for the application to be updated.
Once you have updated WhatsApp, the feature should now be available for you to use.
How to use the Stickers
Sharing WhatsApp stickers is fairly simple and the process is similar to sharing emojis. If you are unable to locate the stickers feature, then there’s no reason to panic since we’ve got you covered. Here’s a couple of steps required to send a sticker.
While in a chat, tap on the Emoji icon in the “Type a message bar.”
Tap on the stickers button.
Pick the sticker pack from which you want to send a sticker by tapping on the sticker pack icons at the top bar of the stickers tab.
Now simply tap on the sticker you want to send.
You can also check out our detailed guide on ‘how to send WhatsApp stickers‘.
How to save Stickers to favorites
The ability to save stickers as favorites is super useful since you might download a dozen or more sticker packs for WhatsApp but only have a few favorites.
There are three ways you could add stickers to your favorites and we’ve already created a detailed guide on how to save WhatsApp stickers to favorites. Check out the article to take your sticker game to the next level.
How to remove WhatsApp stickers
Not all WhatsApp sticker packs are created equally, some are absolutely fantastic while some aren’t as good which is why you may end up wanting to remove a few sticker packs.
Well, there are 2 ways to go about removing a WhatsApp sticker pack so let’s take a look at how to do so.
Method 1: Uninstall the sticker pack
The first method is super easy and follows the same process as uninstalling any other application on your Android device.
Head over to your application list and find the sticker pack you want to remove.
Long press on the sticker pack and then wait for a pop-up menu to appear. Depending on your OEM skin you might see Uninstall or a simple Trashcan icon. Tap on the Uninstall/Trashcan button and then confirm the uninstall by tapping on yes when you see the pop-up to confirm the uninstall.
Method 2: Delete from WhatsApp
You can also directly delete the sticker pack from WhatsApp by performing just a few steps.
Launch the WhatsApp application and open a chat.
Tap the Emoji button and then tap on the Sticker icon which should be at the bottom bar.
Now on the stickers bar, you should see a + icon towards the right. Tap on this to open up the Stickers menu.
Head over to the My Stickers tab. You would be able to see all the sticker packs currently installed on your device.
Now, simply tap on the delete icon at the side if the Sticker pack you want to remove from WhatsApp, then tap on delete again.
That’s it. The sticker pack would be removed from your WhatsApp.
How to create custom stickers for WhatsApp
The best thing about the new WhatsApp Stickers update is that users can create their very own stickers and share them using the Stickers option within WhatsApp.
It might seem tricky to create your own stickers and you might be wondering if you’d need to design your own stickers, luckily, that’s not the case. Creating your own stickers is quite simple and in case you’re interested in doing so, then you can check out our detailed guide on how to create your own custom stickers for WhatsApp.
Best WhatsApp sticker apps download
There are a lot many sticker packs for WhatsApp available on the Google Play Store as well as outside the Play Store in downloadable APK files. This makes it very time consuming to search for the sticker pack which you might like the most.
To make life easier for you, we’ve compiled a list of the best WhatsApp sticker packs available right now. The article features several of the best sticker packs from different categories for you to download.

Among Us Movie In 2023? All You Need To Know
Although it came into being in mid-2023, Among Us has taken the world by storm with millions of users either playing the game or binge-watching its streams on Twitch and Youtube.
The reason for the game’s long-time success has certainly been its plot where you’re required to complete little tasks as crew-mates of a spaceship and prepare it for launch. But that’s not just it; you’re also expected to stay vigilant and keep an eye for an imposter who’s simultaneously working to kill some of the members in secret.
The game’s plot has led many fans to believe that an Among Us movie is coming soon. But is it? That’s what we’re here to discuss.

Is an ‘Among Us’ movie coming in 2023?
No. Not until the time of writing this. While there have been many rumors floating around about an upcoming movie that’s based on the indie game, there’s no solid reason to believe that an ‘Among Us’ movie is going to drop in 2023. The reason for netizens to believe such a movie is coming is because there are several fan-made posters for the ‘Among Us’ movie that doesn’t exist.
Posters like the one in the tweet below have left some fans confused, so much to an extent that some do expect that such a thing is in the making.
— Bixels (on hiatus) (@BixelsWixels) September 21, 2023
Another reason why there are rumors of an Among Us movie is that Netflix is known to produce live-action movies that are based on games, comics, and books. But that doesn’t mean everything that’s popular will be turned into a movie and until now, there has been no worthwhile development or even an indication of an Among Us-themed movie.
Related: What Is Among Us Unblocked? Is it Genuine?
Isn’t ‘Among Us’ already a movie?
Yes. There’s in fact a horror-drama movie that’s actually titled ‘Among Us’. The movie was released in 2023 and it’s about a couple whose young son was killed in a mysterious death and now they’re fleeing to a remote lake house to escape the supernatural activity that continues to haunt them. Struggling to save their sanity, they reach out to seek the help of a clairvoyant to end the dread once and for all.
This 2023 horror movie has an IMDB rating of 4.3 stars and if you haven’t realized it yet, NO, this movie has nothing to do with the Among Us video game that has been popular lately.

What’s with the Among Us movie rumors?
As we have mentioned above, Among Us has inspired many fans to make fan-art posters that might look very close to being real but they’re not. It took one person to start joking about an Among Us movie and it didn’t take long for others to join the wagon.
The number of fan posters and jokes for the supposed Among Us movie grew in so many numbers that it has made many of us anticipate that such a thing is close to being on the big screen.
Look at this poster! It just looks real, doesn’t it?

Which movie closely resembles the Among Us game?
If you have played Among Us for quite some time and you’re wondering whether there has been a movie that’s similar to the space indie game, then you might like this.
The Thing: Released and set in 1982, this Sc-Fi mystery horror movie takes place in a US research station in Antarctica. The research team finds the remains of a strange creature that has shape-shifting powers and later hunts them so that they can take over and assimilate into other life forms. Tensions escalate and soon no one trusts the person next to them – which is what Among Us is all about. The Thing has an 8.2 star-rating on IMDB and it’s pretty amazing how resembling the movie is to the latest viral game.
Life: Set at the International Space Station, a team of scientists starred by Ryan Reynolds, Jake Gyllenhaal, and other prominent names discover that their life is in danger after the events that follow the collection of samples containing life form in Mars. Soon, the crew realizes that the single-celled organism can evolve rapidly and can be more intelligent than what they thought it to be. This Sci-Fi Thriller movie was released in 2023 and has an IMDB rating of 6.6 stars.
Related: Among Us Keybinds
Sunshine: This Danny Boyle-directed film is as close to Among Us as a movie can ever be and revolves around a team of international astronauts that embark on a mission to reignite the dying Sun. Released in 2007 but set in 2057, the astronauts devise to shoot a missile in the hopes of bombarding the sun but little do they realize that someone in their own team doesn’t want to mission to succeed. IMDB has rated this at 7.2 stars.
Solaris: This George Clooney-starrer revolves around a psychologist who’s sent to a space station that is orbiting the mysterious planet of Solaris. The psychologist seeks the truth behind what is making the crew members terrified after they witness a set of strange phenomena aboard the ship and fail to differentiate between what’s real and what’s not. While only rated 6.6 stars by IMDB users, Solaris could still be a decent watch if you want a bit of drama, science, and mystery.
10 Cloverfield Lane: While not set in space, this 2023 movie is what happens when you want to combine Among Us but you want to do it on Earth. Michelle finds herself inside a mysterious shelter after getting into a car accident and is made to believe that the outside world is affected by a widespread alien attack. But is it? IMDB recommends that you watch it as users have given it a 7.2-star rating.
Related: How to Always Be Imposter in Among Us
Can you expect an Among Us movie made after the game?
Having filled with love for the game and after seeing the several fan posters that could have been made real, many have come to expect a movie that captures the essence of paranoia and thrill that you get when playing Among Us.
Although movies have made us realize that nothing is impossible to adapt, no one has announced that they’re making a movie about Among Us, not even Netflix. But don’t lose hope, there might always be new movies to look forward to and maybe, just maybe, the next space-based sci-fi title takes inspiration from the game.

How to use Pinterest for business: 8 tips and tricks
1. Create a Pinterest marketing strategyJust as you would with any other social media channel, start by drawing out a social media strategy for Pinterest — don’t just jump right in.
Creating a Pinterest marketing strategy means:
Setting SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Time-bound). On top of gaining a following on Pinterest, do you hope the platform will drive traffic to your website, increase sales for a specific product or drive sign-ups for an event?
Learning about the general Pinterest audience and the demographic that is most likely to use this channel.
Learning about your brand’s specific Pinterest target audience.
Considering what your competitors are doing on this social media platform.
Planning and incorporating on-brand content for Pinterest into your social media content calendar.
Once you’ve set a clear strategy, you can begin working toward your goals.
2. Pin engaging, captivating contentPinterest is a visual platform, so effectively using it for business means producing high-quality, engaging visual content to share.
So, what makes a captivating Pin?
Vertical imagery. Data shows 82% of users browse Pinterest on mobile. Shoot for a 2:3 aspect ratio to avoid ending up with awkwardly cropped images.
Consider your image and video quality. You want to avoid pixelation, so aim for the highest quality image and video that Pinterest recommends.
Text overlay. Consider including a headline that reinforces your visual message.
Tasteful branding. If it makes sense for your brand and corresponds to your Pinterest marketing strategy, incorporate your logo in your Pins so your brand doesn’t get lost in the Repin shuffle.
Finally, be consistent! Consistent, daily Pinning is more effective than creating a board and filling it up at once. And Pinning regularly ensures your content will reach a wider audience.
Using Hootsuite to schedule Pins will help your brand stay on top of your content calendar. (Learn more about how to use Pinterest with Hootsuite below.)
3. Try different Pin formatsPinterest is an image-sharing platform, but it’s not just about photos.
Mix it up! Pin a video encouraging Pinners to shop at your e-commerce store or try adding multiple photos to a Pin to create a carousel.
For example, Nike uses video to promote its products:
And carousels to show a variety of products in one Pin:
But even though 80% of Pinners discover a new brand or product on Pinterest, think beyond shopping and explicitly promoting your brand.
Pinners also come to the platform for inspiration, with 85% of Pinners saying they come to Pinterest to start a new project. Consider also posting how-to Pins or inspiration boards to provide your audience with fun and valuable content.
For example, Nespresso pins step-by-step content to engage Pinners with its brand:
4. Carefully plan your boardsAs 97% of Pinterest searches are unbranded, your brand’s boards can help reach new Pinners interested in specific topics or learning specific things.
For example, Oreo’s boards include Pins with inspiration for upcoming seasonal holidays — like its Spooky Sweet Halloween board and Holidays with Oreo board — as well as recipe ideas, like its Oreo Cupcakes and Oreo Cookie Balls board.
5. Optimize your Pins for SEOPinterest is a search engine, so make sure your business’s Pins are easy to find in a search! Include keywords in your Pins’ descriptions, on boards and in hashtags.
Rich Pins, designed to pin new content from your business’s website while avoiding duplicate content will also boost your brand’s Pinterest SEO.

Important Pinterest for business terms you should know
Like every social media site, Pinterest has its own lingo you should familiarize yourself with to set yourself up for success. To help you out, here’s a glossary.
Pins and Pin formats PinnerLinkedIn has members. Snapchat users are Snapchatters. And Pinterest has Pinners. In other words, a Pinner is the branded term for a person who uses Pinterest.
Pins Promoted PinsPromoted Pins are a kind of Pinterest ad. They are Pins that companies have paid to promote so that more Pinners are likely to see them. These Pins appear in the home feed, category feed and search results, and include a “Promoted” label.
Promoted video Pins, carousels, and app Pins are also available. Learn more about Pinterest ad options here.
RepinsThink of a Repin as a share on Facebook or a Retweet on Twitter. A Repin is when someone Pins a post they like (but that they didn’t create) to one of their boards.
Rich PinsRich Pins automatically pull more information from your website to the Pin. The point is to provide more information, such as product availability and up-to-date pricing. Rich Pins are available in three formats: Product Rich Pins, Recipe Rich Pins and Article Rich Pins.
Video PinsThese are much like regular Pins, but instead of a static photo, they feature a video that loops.
Carousel PinsInstead of just one image, carousel Pins feature multiple images. Up to five images can be added to a carousel Pin.
Collections Pins Idea PinsThis is a new Pin format that isn’t widely available yet. Idea Pins can be used to promote your brand in a new way, by customizing the colors and fonts in your Pin, creating step-by-step guides or curating collections.
Try on product PinsThis is another new Pin format that isn’t widely available yet. Try on Pins use augmented reality (AR filters), allowing Pinners to virtually “try on” products they see on Pinterest using the Pinterest Lens.
Boards and Board types BoardsThink of Pinterest boards as digital mood boards. Use boards to save, collect and organize your Pins. Many use boards to group Pins according to a certain theme or topic. For example, you might create a board around the planning of a product launch event, for seasonal content, or for wedding inspiration.
Group boardsGroup boards are the same as regular boards, except more than one person can add content. This format is ideal for marketers looking to share ideas or plans with their team, as anyone can contribute.
Secret boardsA secret board can only be seen by its creator and invited collaborators. When you create one, you’ll see a lock symbol beside the board name. These are useful for planning you don’t want to be public — secret boards won’t appear in the home feed, in search, or anywhere publicly on Pinterest.
Protected boardsSimilar to secret boards, protected boards live at the bottom of your Pinterest profile and only you can see them. However, the Pins on these protected boards can be seen across Pinterest if a Pinner has a direct link.
General Pinterest terms Audience InsightsPinterest business accounts have access to important metrics and analytics via Audience Insights. Learn more about how to use Pinterest analytics and what platform-specific metrics you should be tracking.
Pinterest LensThis augmented reality tool is available on mobile devices only. Pinterest Lens is a camera tool that lets users take a picture of something — like a product or a Pincode — and then they can find related content on Pinterest.
PincodesPincodes are essentially QR codes. These codes can be placed on hard copies of marketing material (like a business card or a press release) and scanned using Pinterest Lens — the codes then link back to a Pinterest board or profile.

Usb C Vs. Usb 3 Vs. Thunderbolt: All You Need To Know
The world of technology is ever-changing, and sometimes it can be difficult to keep up with new terminology. The latest USB technology is no exception. When people use jargon like USB-C, USB 3, and Thunderbolt, what does it really mean? Let’s try to clear up some of the confusion.
What do the Letters and Numbers Mean?First of all, you need to understand that these terms are not talking about different versions of the same thing. Each one refers to some unique features of the USB, either the speed or the hardware specs.
USB connectors have both numbers and letters to describe them. The letters stand for the physical characteristics of the connector. The numbers refer to the technology that moves the data and power from one device to another.
The original USB ports, USB-A, were 12 mm wide rectangular connectors. These ports are still standard on most computers and are the one ones most people probably envision when they hear the term USB. Even as technology improved the speed of the transfer of data, that connector has stayed the same until recently.
USB-CUSB-C is the latest version of USB hardware available. It no longer uses the 12 mm connector. Instead, it uses an 8.4mm reversible connector.
If you have ever tried to insert a USB-A cord into another device, you may have found that it can take several flips to insert it correctly! This is because there is a definite up and down on the cord. USB-C doesn’t have that problem because it’s reversible. With a USB-C connector, you don’t have to worry about which way is up when you insert it.
A USB-C cord can supply considerably more power than the earlier versions.
These cords are also capable of transferring data at high speeds.
Another useful feature of some USB-C devices is bidirectional charging, which allows one device to charge another.
USB-3The numbers associated with USB connectors indicate the speed with which data is transferred from the device. Each new generation of USB technology allows for faster transfer speeds. USB 3.0 is the third major version of USB for connecting computers and other electronic devices.
USB-3 ports on a device are the same as traditional USB-2 ports, but they are colored blue.
USB 3 has been revised to become USB 3.1 and 3.2. The newest 3.2 generations are Gen 1, Gen 2, and Gen 2×2. These newer versions are even faster than the original 3.0, which was ten times faster than USB 2.0.
Thunderbolt 3Thunderbolt is not a USB standard. It is an entirely different tool designed for the rapid transfer of data. Intel developed it, and if a company wants to incorporate this technology into their devices, they have to get a certification from Intel. Not every company wants to do that, so this protocol isn’t found in many devices.
Thunderbolt cords use the same 8.4mm reversible port as USB-C. Thunderbolt 3 ports, cables, and gear usually have an arrow shaped like a lightning bolt to distinguish them from USB-C.
Even though it is not USB, Thunderbolt has a fallback option. If it cannot communicate with a connected device as a Thunderbolt unit, it attempts the transfer using the USB protocol. When using USB, the Thunderbolt 3 port is limited to the connected device’s USB speeds, not the much faster rates of Thunderbolt.
Speed comparisonThunderbolt is much faster than any of its USB competitors.
USB 3.2 Generation 1 only has a transfer rate of 5 Gbps, Generation 2 has a rate of 10 Gbps, and the 2×2 generation has a top speed of 20 Gbps. But none of these can compete with the 40 Gbps speed of the Thunderbolt.
If you are purchasing a new device or computer and want to utilize the high-speed transfers that Thunderbolt makes possible, make sure that the device has a USB-C-style port labeled with the lightning-bolt logo.
