Sonos has announced its latest controller app, this time headed to Android smartphones. The Sonos Controller for Android will hit the Market in late March and, like the company’s existing iOS apps, be a free download. New on the Android version, however, is music voice search, which will allow users to search for tracks, artists and albums using spoken requests.
Voice control also works for searching for new streaming radio stations, and the Android app has the same multi-room volume and track control as its predecessors. It requires a device running Android 2.1 or later, with a screen size of HVGA 320 x 480, WVGA 480 x 800 or WVGA 480 x 854; that basically means most recent phones.

Parental Control On Android: 5 Ways To Make Smartphones Safe For Your Child
The very first option is Google’s Family Link parental controls app. This app lets parents remotely set some restrictions on their children to guide them as they learn online. This app can do the following:
1. View app activity − You can check your child’s app activity and make healthy decisions about what they do on their device. This also shows how much time they are spending on which apps.

1. Open the Family Link app and select your child.

Block mature sites: This will hide sexually explicit and violent sites.

Survey: 33% Of Android Users May Switch To Iphone Due To New Ios
New security features debuting with the upcoming release of iOS 16 seem to be luring in plenty of potential customers: According to a new survey, 33% of Android users are considering switching to iPhones because of what the new iOS has to offer.
And, of those who are mulling over the Android-to-Apple jump between smartphone brands, a full 45% say that the perception of Apple’s better data security tools are the main reason.
But does the iPhone warrant such a positive view from the security-conscious?
iOS Has LockDown Mode and Data Privacy ControlsThe new statistics are from Beyond Identity and draw on a poll of 1,003 Americans covering mobile phone security habits and opinions, with a fairly even split of 505 Android-using respondents to 498 Apple phone users.
The new iOS 16 release will add features to stop spyware like a “Lockdown Mode” that limits or stops apps that might pose a security risk.
Apple has been rolling out additional data privacy options in recent years, too, giving users more control over what data they share with third-party apps. Just ask Facebook, which stated recently that it will lose $10 billion in 2023 as a result of Apple’s new data transparency efforts.
The feelings of security extend to specific Apple cloud services as well: 20% of iCloud Keychain users say they feel “extremely secure,” compared to just 13% of Google Password Manager users, while 27% of Apple users say they’re extremely secure with using iCloud, up from 22% of Google Drive users who say the same.
iPhones Users Report Few Data Breaches and More Data Recoveries Than Android UsersAccording to the new survey results, Apple’s users were more likely to report never experiencing a security breach. If they did see a breach, they still came out ahead, as they were 20% more likely to fully recover the data that was lost than Android users who suffered an attack.
iPhones weren’t completely perfect. Interestingly enough, they did go missing more frequently.
“However, Apple users may have felt a little too safe, as they were more likely to report regularly losing their phones—often as many as six or more times in the last six months.” – The survey
There’s no question that Apple’s winning the battle over public opinion, however, with both high preceptions of security and low reports of breaches. It’s tough to argue with those reported experiences. Still, we’ll give it a shot.
Does iOS have a VPN problem?iOS has plenty of great data privacy and security features, and they won’t be going away any time soon. But the tech giant also has a history of scooping up data, and plenty of experts take a skeptical view that its approach to privacy is all its cracked up to be.
Worse, one just-released report dug into the iOS and found that a bug reported in 2023 still hadn’t been fixed. According to it, the current iOS prevents any VPN from fully encrypting all traffic. Essentially, no VPN is good enough that it can really be trusted on an iPhone or iPad.
That report was looking at iOS 15.6, so there’s a chance that Apple has patched up the vulnerability with the new iOS 16. But the bug was reported back when iOS 13 was the current system, and it hasn’t been resolved yet. Android VPNs, meanwhile, are still doing their job.

After the creator of Mario and Zelda deemed Nintendo’s latest Wii U console a failure, the company has shifted focus to its followup project. Mysteriously titled “Project NX,” few details have been revealed regarding what to expect. While we may not know the features of the company’s upcoming flagship console, we now know a release date: March 2023.
During the announcement of its latest financial results, Nintendo casually slipped in the expected release date for its next console. According to Nintendo, “Nintendo is currently developing a gaming platform codenamed “NX” with a brand-new concept. NX will be launched in March 2023 globally.”
Despite knowing the Nintendo NX release date, we still don’t know what to expect from the upcoming hardware. Nintendo often rallies each console generation around a new gimmick to drum up interest for their classic first-party titles. Examples include a second, touch-enabled screen on the original DS, glasses-free 3D on the 3DS, motion control like on the original Wii, and a tablet-like controller on the Wii U. Some assume we’ll see virtual reality in the NX support, to go up against Playstation’s PS VR. Others are saying we could possibly see a hybrid console: one that combines a portable and home video game machine, like if the Wii U tablet controller were simply a Nintendo 3DS, but the 2023 versions of both systems.

Many expected the company to bring details at their E3 2023 press conference in June, but GameSpot reports otherwise. While Nintendo may not bring NX details to the show, they will offer some Zelda Wii U playtime. Our fingers are crossed that it looks similar to the beautiful Unreal Engine 4 mockups we’ve seen.
Few things are certain in regards to Nintendo’s upcoming console efforts. Like the fact that the Wii U may or may not end production in 2023. But the Japanese gaming giant’s willingness to finally embrace a new direction is a good sign. Apps like Miitomo and upcoming Nintendo games coming to iPhone and Android with the help of DeNA show that Nintendo is finally willing to adapt with the times, even when the company has its own gaming handheld to sell. While Nintendo’s consoles were the only ones to see Pokémon games, this franchise too will make its way to iOS and Google devices with Pokémon Go later this year.

This means that when you’re looking to create a new piece of content explaining Bruce Willis’ age, you should also be thinking about answering where he was born, how many siblings he has, if any of them are actors, and additional bio information within that content.
If you think like your user, as a human, then you’ll be able to get ahead of their next question and have content already ready for them.
Another way people use voice search is to define local information.
When users voice search on their mobile devices, they are three times more likely to be looking for local information. This means localized content is also largely impacted by voice and vice versa.
